Kim Jong Un could be invited to the White House after meeting with US President Donald Trump.
"We had a really fantastic meeting. A lot of progress. Really very positive. I think better than anybody could have expected... Top of the line. Really good," Trump told reporters following the history-making meeting held in Singapore today.
The pair of leaders have signed a document – but it’s unclear yet what the document contains.
"We are signing a very important document, a pretty comprehensive document, and we have had a really great term together, a great relationship."
Kim added: "We have decided to leave the past behind. The world will see a major change. I would like to express my gratitude to President Trump for making this happen."
Trump has told reported North Korea would now begin the process of denuclearisation – but when pushed would not say whether they would work towards 100%.
He said the pair shared a “very special bond”.
More information about the contents of the document will be revealed in the next few hours.
