Triple M’s Andrew Jarman has linked two big-name midfielders to a possible move to Hawthorn this off-season.
The first name was Dylan Shiel, who is contracted until the end of next year with GWS.
It hasn’t stopped speculation he could return to Victoria, with the star Giant “gettable” and GWS facing a significant salary cap problem, according to Triple M’s Damian Barrett.
“He’s going to leave at the end of the year,” Jars told Triple M’s Rush Hour with Jars and Louie on Monday.
“Hawthorn are all over Dylan Shiel. In return, they’ll be offering their ruckman, (Jon) Ceglar, and a first-round draft pick.”
Then Jars dropped something equally big, linking Chad Wingard to Hawthorn, which certainly surprised Louie.
“That would be huge,” he said.
“Hawthorn just know how to do it,” Jars said.
