Etihad Stadium is launching three new types of salt for its hot chips this season.
The venue will be offering a chilli, lime and thyme flavour — it’s spiciest new salt — and a lemon, garlic and oregano flavour.
The exact ingredients for the third variant are a tightly held secret.
Its imaginative name is ‘Etihad Stadium secret salt’.
For the purists, common or garden variety salt will also be available.
The new salt flavours are part of Etihad’s initiative to continue offering the cheapest hot chips at Melbourne footy games going forward.
The new flavours will debut at the St Kilda v Melbourne game on Saturday.
