North Melbourne young gun Paul Ahern has signed a two-year deal, taking him until the end of 2020.
The 21-year-old - who racked up a whopping 37 disposals in just his eighth game on the weekend - will stay at the club for another two years.
"I'm rapt to be at North Melbourne for another two years," he told North Melbourne's website.
"I think North have shown really good faith in the last year and a half.
"I always wanted to represent a club and I'm so happy that it's North. I couldn't think of any other team that I'd rather play for."
"His last 10 weeks have been incredible." Wayne Carey has named his two best players in the competition on Triple M's Rush Hour.
