Geelong has released a statement on Tim Kelly, confirming he has asked them to explore trade options.
Kelly has reportedly wanted out of Geelong after just one year at the club, looking to return home to Western Australia.
Geelong confirmed the possibility of trading him would be explored and they would work with either Fremantle or West Coast for a trade.
But they also said it was "highly likely" Kelly would stay and see out his deal.
"Tim Kelly has asked that the club explore the possibility of trading him to his home state, Western Australia," they wrote.
"As is well known, Tim is under contract to the Cats for the 2019 season, and it is highly likely he will remain with the club.
"However out of respect for Tim, we will listen to what Fremantle and West Coast are prepared to offer and determine whether or not we believe it is a viable trade for our club."
